Enrique Iglesias (46) will not end his career. The singer released his album “Final Vol. 1” two weeks ago. “People” he said about it: “It means that it will be the last album that I will do.” According to the 46-year-old, it doesn’t mean “that I’m going into retirement”. Many people would have asked him if he would give up music.
His answer: “No, I will never retire! I will continue to write songs, but that doesn’t mean I have to put out albums every now and then,” Iglesias said. Recently, in a conversation with Ricky Martin (49) and Sebastián Yatra (26), he said that it could be his last album: “This is not something I have thought about in the last few months. It is something I am in I’ve been thinking over the last few years. “
“It is the right time”
Iglesias said, according to the report, “There will be Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, but they will be the last.” It is “at the moment in my life, in this chapter of my life, when I think it is the right time to bring it out, and I have been thinking about it since 2015”.
His three children also have an influence on his music, as Iglesias further revealed, according to “People”. “Because of their reaction, I think, ‘Ok, this is good’. And if they don’t react, I say, ‘Ok, this is not so good,'” he said. With his partner Anna Kurnikowa (40) he has twins Lucy and Nicholas, who were born in 2017. In 2020 their third child, Mary, was born.
