(Boursier.com) — Épopée Gestion, a territorial investment company co-founded by Charles Cabillic and Ronan Le Moal, today formalizes the launch of the Épopée Villae endowment fund. Created in 2022 to support local initiatives in the Atlantic Arc, Épopée Villae aims to generate impact at the local level by creating jobs and financing local businesses and services.
The fund is financed by a portion of the management company’s management fees, by investors who wish to support it and by the carried interest (remuneration linked to the performance of the funds) of the management team. Its ambition is to support a dozen projects per year located in municipalities of the Great West (Brittany, Normandy, Pays de la Loire, Centre-Val-de Loire, New Aquitaine) with less than 5,000 inhabitants.
