Eramet: progressing in the CDP’s Climate Change ranking

(CercleFinance.com) – The Eramet group announces that it has just been awarded an A- rating, in clear progress, in the Climate Change 2022 ranking of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an international benchmark organization in the assessment of the environmental impact of companies.

Eramet joins the leading companies in its ‘metal smelting, refining and forming’ business sector with an A- rating, compared to B in 2021 and D in 2019, which rewards its proactive actions in the fight against climate change.

Eramet has set itself a target of reducing its CO2 emissions by 40% by 2035 (compared to 2019), based on three major levers: the use of biosourced reducers, the decarbonization of purchased energy and the development of carbon capture and storage (CCS).
