Erection Problems: Why They Make Sex Even Better

Anyone who claims that only women are under media pressure with their bodies has never thought about how men with erectile problems feel. A lack of potency can even enrich sex.

Admittedly, erectile problems are not an easy topic for both affected men and their partners. The image of the always potent man who sees an attractive woman and is immediately ready for the act is far too stuck. This is by no means in line with reality. Already at a young age, many men have problems with stability and would also have it if Giselle Bündchen stood in front of them stripping. Whether a man is aroused or not is not necessarily linked to an erection. The older men are, the more common the failure of erection, which has been declared a problem. In the age group of 40 and over, this already affects over half of all men. Nevertheless, erectile problems lead to stress and insecurity in many relationships. However, this is usually not due to the thing itself, but mainly a lack of or poor communication.

Erection problems: does HE no longer find me attractive?

The male erection is not only a problem for the male self-confidence, but also that of the female partner. When women suddenly notice after many years that their partner is more and more often unable to get one up, women (yes, that’s how we are) like to relate it to themselves. Suddenly she notices that her breasts are no longer the firmest, the legs a little too fat and the buttocks a little too dumpy. And so both lie awake, alone feeling that it is their body, and fail to speak openly with each other. While speaking, they would notice that it is actually very similar to them. Both feel that their body is not perfect. Both feel guilty. This shared feeling and mutual understanding could also create a wonderful kind of closeness. If you would talk about it.

Necessity is the mother of invention

It is a really petty idea that sex must always start with an erection. Yes, in order to penetrate the woman, it is quite helpful. But it is also possible without an erection, for example with so-called slow sex. Moisture is particularly important, and lubricant is best. But even without a penis, the man can give pleasure to his partner. In fact, women rarely climax through penetration anyway. Much more often women come when attention is paid to their clitoris. and that works much better with the fingers or during oral sex anyway. Since sex often becomes monotonous in long-term relationships, the need to be inventive is often not that bad at all. Maybe everything will even be better than ever. But that requires empathy, trust and openness.

First, take the pressure off

By the way, once couples have taken the pressure off, many men find it much easier to get an erection again. Stress is often one of the many reasons why things stop working in bed. If the erection does not occur permanently, men should definitely undergo an examination. Because sometimes there is a serious illness behind the problems. But if this is not the case, men should relax first. Just follow the three golden rules: Be inventive. Tell us you think we are sexy. And trust us that we will understand you. We don’t reduce you to your penis any more than you reduce us to our breasts. We only get a problem if you keep silent.
