Eric Naulleau: Great literary evening with Liane Foly and Anny Duperey!

Created in 1954 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer Alphonse Allais, the academy that bears the writer’s name meets regularly and awards prestigious literary prizes each year to writers who have particularly stood out. This Tuesday, it was not about awards but about new members who officially joined the academy.

Eric Naulleau, notably, officially becomes a member. The 61-year-old writer is also a columnist and TV presenter, nearly 15 years after his debut as a polemicist with Laurent Ruquier. Endowed with strong and sometimes divisive convictions, he is on the other hand accustomed to giving his opinion on literature, which he likes to be demanding.

In a completely different genre, Marie-Paule Belle was also one of the lucky ones. The singer, well known for her title La Parisienne, decided twenty years ago to devote herself to the interpretation of Barbara’s most beautiful songs and at 76, she is not ready to stop!

Ahead of her time, Marie-Paule Belle, now 76, had notably shared her life with a woman, fully assuming her homosexuality in an era that still had difficulty accepting it. She notably lived for more than ten years with the Belgian novelist Françoise Mallet-Joris and wrote a novel in tribute to the one who died in 2016.

Finally, Jacques Santamaria, actor, director and man of television was also one of the great conscripts, he who wrote numerous screenplays and books in collaboration with the journalist Pascal Duhamel. Happy with this privileged distinction, all three posed happily in front of the photographers, in the company of those who had come to pay homage to them.

During the evening, we notably saw the actress Anny Duperey who made a speech. Always so classy and distinguished, the actress who will be 75 next June has also been part of the academy for 2 years. In any case, she spent time with Marie-Paule Belle and posed with her during the evening. Maybe she gave him advice, she who had also received an Academy Award a few years ago!

Liane Foly, member since 2016, was also present and also posed with the winners. The singer, ex-wife of André Manoukian, has indeed many strings to her bow: an imitator, she was also part of the Enfoirés troupe for many years.
