Created in 1954 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer Alphonse Allais, the academy that bears the writer’s name meets regularly and awards prestigious literary prizes each year to writers who have particularly stood out. Eric Naulleau, notably, officially becomes a member. The 61-year-old writer is also a columnist and TV presenter, nearly 15 years after his debut as a polemicist with Laurent Ruquier. Endowed with strong and sometimes divisive convictions, he is on the other hand accustomed to giving his opinion on literature, which he likes to be demanding.
In a completely different genre, Marie-Paule Belle was also one of the lucky ones. The singer, well known for her title La Parisienne, decided twenty years ago to devote herself to the interpretation of Barbara’s most beautiful songs and at 76, she is not ready to stop!
