(CercleFinance.com) – Ericsson announces today that the security of the 5G network of Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) in Malaysia has been reinforced by the deployment of Ericsson Security Manager (ESM).
ESM is a comprehensive cybersecurity platform solution designed “to help operators protect their networks and data from security threats by providing visibility and automating security processes,” the company said.
DNB, established in 2021 to drive the development of 5G infrastructure in Malaysia is delivering the first deployment of the ESM solution in Malaysia, making it a frontrunner in security by proactively securing network integrity.
Alex Ooi, Head of Information Systems Security at DNB, said: ‘With ESM automating security processes and compliance, 5G network users will have confidence that cyber threats are effectively monitored and managed.’
Keijo Mononen, Head of Security Solutions, Technology and New Business Business Line at Ericsson, adds: ‘The reliance on digital services is growing and cybersecurity is a critical success factor. The ESM enables DNB to gain full visibility and control of security in 5G.’
