If the father of two Erol Sander has his way, family planning with his wife Caroline Goddet is not yet over.

The actor Erol Sander (53) has been married to Caroline Goddet (45) since 2000. After a headline breakup in 2017, the couple celebrated a surprising love comeback in 2020. They have two sons together. In a double interview with the “Bild” newspaper Sander has now revealed that it could still happen “that we will have a third child. In any case, I am not ruling out it”. In response to his wife’s objection as to whether she was already a little too old to have a baby, Sander replied briefly: “You’re never too old.”

Goddet goes on to explain that having a baby is a huge responsibility. “A third dog would be easier for now,” she quipped. “But in the past we really always said that after the birth of our two sons we would keep trying until we had another daughter.”

Goddet is more open to the idea of renewing the couple’s vows. “That can happen. With us also very spontaneously. We got married spontaneously the first time in Denmark. So why not again?” Sander could imagine a trip to Las Vegas, but also emphasizes: “We have already said yes. And we were never divorced.” For Goddet one thing is certain: “We now know that we will stay together forever.”

Two corona cases in the family

After a difficult time, the family spends Christmas quietly and without much stress, Sander also explains in the interview. “Our older son had Corona. My father-in-law, Caro’s father, also had Corona. We had a tough year in that regard. Now is the time for me to be grateful and also to think about my fellow human beings.”
