New twist in Married at first sight! Bulent, Estelle’s father interrupted the wedding ceremony, the young bride panics.
This is a sequence that surprised viewers. In the new episode of Married at first sight, broadcast this Monday, May 1 on M6, Estelle’s father allowed himself to interrupt the wedding ceremony. And this isn’t the first time he’s been noticed. Indeed, Bulent had already shared his concerns about this original marriage. He had then asked to meet his future gender Maximilian. His request going against the rules of the show, the experts had been forced to refuse.
However, in an attempt to reassure Bulent, the experts at Married at first sight offered to meet him, not Maximilien, but his father. The meeting had therefore taken place, an unprecedented event in the show. Indeed, the families of the bride and groom never meet. And if this meeting had somewhat reassured Bulent, it did not prevent him from interrupting the wedding ceremony. As they exchanged their vows, the mayor asked if anyone opposed the union.

Bulent then stood up, stating that he wanted to speak with Maximilien before he married his daughter Estelle. The latter was not really reassured. Facing the camera, the young woman declares: “I’m freaking out! Because I don’t know what my dad is going to say to him… He never told me he was going to talk to her when we almost say ‘yes’“, confides Estelle. Before adding: “Frankly, I’m scared. I would have preferred him to stay seated like everyone else.”
Bulent took advantage of his unexpected conversation with his son-in-law to send him a message.“Estelle for me is my life, my first love. It’s very complicated for a dad to leave a daughter“, explains Bulent to Maximilien. He pursues : “That’s why all I want is for there to never be any disrespect between you guys, because in a family, when there is a lack of respect, that’s when it doesn’t work anymore“.
For his part, Maximilien tried somehow to reassure his father-in-law by telling him of his sincerity. “I came here in a sincere approach. I am really looking for the woman of my life and I can tell you that I pledge to you to take care of your daughteras I take care of my own daughter”. Finally, Maximilien promises never to make Estelle suffer.
