Starknet expands – Starknet is a second layer network solution Etherum. Developed by the company starware, this one has met with growing interest for several months. Thus, more and more historical Ethereum tools, such as Infura or Metamask are ported to layer 2.
Last June, Consensys announced the launch in closed beta on Starknet of its two flagship products: Metamask and Infura.
Thus, only a handful of developers had access until now to the two products deployed by Consensys on Starknet.
However, on September 20, Consensys announced the opening of Infura to all Starknet developers.
As a reminder, Infura is an infrastructure facilitating the decentralized application development. Indeed, it allows developers to communicate with the blockchain without having to operate a full node.

Last July, the second layer solution Starknet has announced its plans to create a governance token. However, the official launch of the token has not yet taken place.
