BRUSSELS (Reuters) – European Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager will hold a press conference at 1:00 p.m. (12:00 GMT) on Monday regarding a case involving breaches of European competition law, the European Commission said without give more details.
She is expected to announce a fine against Apple for a competition infraction in the music streaming market through the App Store, which prevents developers from informing users of other purchasing options.
The case was brought before the European competition authority in 2019 by Spotify.
