(CercleFinance.com) – Between November and December 2023, industrial production adjusted for seasonal variations increased by 2.6% in the euro zone and in the EU, reports Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
Industrial production notably increased by 20.5% for capital goods and decreased by 1.2% for intermediate goods in the euro zone.
As a reminder, in November 2023, industrial production increased by 0.4% in the euro zone and by 0.5% in the EU.
In December 2023, compared to December 2022, industrial production increased by 1.2% in the euro area and the EU.
