(CercleFinance.com) – In June 2022, the unemployment rate in the euro zone remained at 6.6% and that of the EU also remained identical to that of May, at 6.0%, according to the seasonally adjusted data published by Eurostat.
The latter estimates that in June, 12.93 million people were unemployed in the EU, including 10.92 million in the euro zone. Compared to the same month in 2021, unemployment fell by 2.31 million in the EU and by 1.96 million in the euro zone.
