(AOF) – Eurobio Scientific has announced the signing of an exclusive distribution contract for the OraQuick saliva self-test with the American firm Orasure. This exclusive contract concerns the French market including its overseas territories. This test makes it possible in 20 minutes to detect the presence of antibodies characteristic of HIV infections from a saliva sample. Like the COVID serological tests, it comes in the form of a small plate with a window to visualize the result. It does not require a blood sample but a simple saliva sample.
OraQuick is immediately available in pharmacies and in association and hospital screening centers. With this test, Eurobio Scientific is strengthening its presence in offshore biology, in particular in pharmacies, and expanding its range of self-tests, the COVID self-test having already been available since June.

Boost for French pharmacy
