Here is one who will spend in 2022 with a smile on his face. A Frenchman – whose identity is unknown – won the jackpot of nearly 80 million euros at stake at EuroMillions on Tuesday, December 28.
He managed to find the correct five numbers (4, 6, 15, 17, 29) and the two stars (9, 12). His gain amounts to precisely 79,411,191 euros. He became the 105th Frenchman to become a millionaire this year thanks to EuroMillions, according to the Française des Jeux.

In addition, five Europeans – including a French – found five good numbers and a star, thus winning nearly 124,000 euros. Twenty players – including three French – have won more than 7,000 euros by ticking five correct numbers.
