It was the first time that she filled out a lottery ticket – and already she cleared the highest win in the history of Euromillions. Isabelle Cesari from La Française des Jeux made a special trip to Tahiti to meet the winner. The young woman always saw her grandfather play and was convinced that one day she would win, reports Cesari.

The young woman, whose name is not known to the public, is quoted by the lottery company with the following words: “I have often told my grandpa that I will be lucky the day I play one day.” She just waited for the right moment and then had an inspiration.
The lottery company gave the woman the money on the island of Tahiti. Until then, the winner had hidden her lottery ticket well – under the bed and between items of clothing. “In the end I was afraid I would forget where I put it,” she told La Française des Jeux.
She has never seen snow before
With the sudden windfall, the woman from the South Pacific now wants to go far away. “I feel like traveling the world with my family and discovering the snow that I’ve never seen before.” She wants to buy a second home on every continent. She also wants to invest money and donate to charity.
Otherwise, the money shouldn’t change anything. “I will remain humble – and continue to walk barefoot,” said the sudden multimillionaire.
Cesari has really grown fond of the winner. “She was very spontaneous, has a lot of strong values and a good environment,” says the employee of the lottery company in one Interview with «Tahiti Info». “We didn’t know each other for five minutes – and she has already confided in me things from her life.
