Euromillions: why the youngest winner of the game regrets having won the jackpot

Jane Park made Euromillions history by becoming the youngest winner ever drawn. Ten years later, she explains why she regrets this stroke of luck.

Influencer Jane Park, at just 27, has lived more lives than most people will ever live. It must be said that the young woman has enough to travel the world and listen to her desires since she became, in 2013, the youngest winner in the history of Euromillions by winning 1 million pounds (over 1.6 million euros) when she was only 17 and playing for the very first time. An incredible stroke of luck which, ten years later, does not seem so happy to him. The young woman has indeed recently been invited to the program of the famous American talk-show presenter Dr Phil in order to talk about the day that completely changed his life… and that she regrets – and she is not the only one in her case.

In the program whose theme was “The curse of the lottery” or “La curse of the lotto”, Jane Park was present alongside lotto specialists who in turn returned to the odds of winning but also on the reasons why people continue to play for several years. Before the broadcast of Dr Phil’s show on the American channel CBS, a small trailer was posted, trailer in which the presenter returns to a difficult but frequent consequence behind such a large gain. “You’ve had stalkers, you’ve had death threats…”. Findings that lead Jane Park to respond: “I wish I had never won the lottery, I don’t wish that on anyone”.

More than 50,000 euros in cosmetic surgery

A surprising statement that the young woman explains in part by Iare the choices that the money that fell into her hands made her make. Because the million pounds she won literally transformed this young woman from Edinburgh who lived with her mother. According to the Mirror, Jane Park has spent more than 56,000 euros on cosmetic surgery since becoming a millionaire. But this series of operations almost cost him his life. Indeed in 2017, the young woman went to Turkey for a buttock lift but ended up in the hospital with swollen lips and face. She had confided at the time in This Morning : “I literally thought I was going to die”. It was ultimately for an allergic reaction to the anesthetic that she was treated and luckily escaped unscathed.
