UEFA announced on Monday that the Tottenham-Rennes meeting in the Europa League Conference was declared lost on the green carpet by the Londoners, consequently eliminated from the competition.
No rescheduling solution having been found after the postponement of the match initially scheduled for December 9, which could not be played due to the case of Covid-19 on the London side, the president of the appeals chamber of the UEFA defeated the English club by forfeit, 3-0.
Tottenham therefore finished third in their C4 group (7 pts), for lack of having had the opportunity to overtake Vitesse Arnhem (2nd, 10 pts), and are eliminated from all European competition this season.
