The poster for the Europa League final is now official: Bayer Leverkusen will face Atalanta Bergamo in Hungary on May 22. The Germans drew against Roma (2-2) at the BayArena and qualified for their first European final since 2002. Held throughout the meeting by aggressive Romans, the recent winners of the Bundesliga were able to count on their efficiency in added time to validate their ticket for the final. Croatian defender Josip Stanisic equalized in the 97th minute. The player on loan from Bayern Munich responded to Paredes’ double from the penalty spot.
