Jordan Bardella officially launches his European campaign today in Marseille. The head of the RN list, favorite in the polls, will be in a meeting this Sunday at Chanot Park. 7,000 people are expected there. The challenge for Jordan Bardella is to mobilize his electorate for an election where abstention is still high.

The president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, officially launches his European campaign this Sunday with a meeting at Chanot Park, in Marseille. The obsession of the head of the RN list less than 100 days before the election is to transform the lead in the polls into concrete votes at the polls on June 9.

A meeting in Marseille, anything but a coincidence

Jordan Bardella must face the multiplication of lists on the right, that of Reconquest and the Republicans in particular. But the young boss of the party has only one adversary: the vision of Europe held by the presidential majority and supported by the President of the Republic: “Mr. Macron and Ms. Van der Leyen are the two faces of a same room: Vanderleism is the parent company when Macronism is the regional branch. They are accomplices in the action, united in the balance sheet.

And Jordan Bardella denounces, among other things, Brussels’ migration and agricultural policy. The president of the National Rally wants to believe, this year, in a possible changeover of the European Parliament thanks to the arrival of conservative parties in Strasbourg. He will speak on stage for the first of these 10 major scheduled meetings. And if mobilization will play a key role in the final result, the choice of Marseille is, today, anything but a coincidence. The PACA region is historically a land very favorable to the RN.
