Google announces the arrival of new keyboard shortcuts in Google Drive on the web. Their operation causes a change in all those to which you were accustomed or almost.
Own a Google account allows many things. Google does not intend to stop there since the firm announces the arrival of new shortcuts exactly. Except that they will change your habits a little.

In a blog post, Google details the upcoming arrival of what it calls “navigation by first letters” on the Drive web interface. Behind this name hides a very simple mechanism: by pressing the first letter of a document name, the first one in the list that begins with it will automatically be highlighted. If you press again, it goes to second, etc. Convenient, but since the current keyboard shortcuts are activated with a letter, for example G then N, they will all be changed.
The list has not yet been updated on the dedicated French page, but it is available on the English version. We see that many combinations will require an initial press on ALT or CTRL on Windows, and Option on macOS. The changes are being rolled out gradually and will be effective for everyone no later than August 1, 2024.
