European elections: Jordan Bardella unveils his program and cuts Emmanuel Macron’s dynamic

Jordan Bardella goes on the offensive. A few hours after Emmanuel Macron’s speech at the Sorbonne, Jordan Bardella presented the National Rally’s program for these European elections. The party president advocates a “Europe of nations”, in which France would play a central role. Faced with the head of state’s record, Jordan Bardella opposes his project. To carry out its program, the head of the RN list is banking on protection and production.

Jordan Bardella wants to put in place a strengthening of borders by making Frontex a real agency to fight against illegal immigration. The president of the RN also wants to guarantee the economic interests of the European Union by fighting against unfair competition in free trade. To reduce Europe’s dependencies, the RN announces that it wants to focus on the production of the old continent. This would notably involve European cooperation between countries favorable to nuclear power, intended to enable the reindustrialization of the area thanks to low-cost energy.

“What we take for openness and generosity is in reality perceived by our competitors as weakness, renunciation, and very often naivety. We embody, I believe, this recovery project, beneficial to our country and our continent,” declared Jordan Bardella, head of the RN list in the European elections. At the RN, Emmanuel Macron’s speech at the Sorbonne is seen as a personal commitment to the campaign. “In the event of defeat, he will therefore have to draw all the consequences”, affirms the RN candidate, who will request, in the event of victory on June 9, a dissolution of the Assembly.
