European stock markets end on a cautious note ahead of US inflation

European stock markets ended Monday’s session on a cautious note awaiting the publication of inflation figures in the United States on Tuesday.

The Paris Stock Exchange ended slightly down 0.10% at 8,019.73 points. Frankfurt lost 0.38%, Milan 0.27%, while London gained 0.12%. The Paris and Frankfurt indices both set session and closing records last week.
