European stock markets ended in the red on Tuesday, after the announcement of the visit of the leader of the American representatives Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, which exacerbates the tensions between the United States and China.

The Paris Stock Exchange dropped 0.42% to 6,409.80 points and Frankfurt lost 0.23%. London, on the other hand, avoided the breakage by finishing close to balance, at -0.06%.
