Europeans: a Mahorais joins the RN list, the government denounces a very controversial candidate

Two ministers strongly criticized Tuesday the presence on the National Rally list of Saidali Boina Hamissi, a Mahorais who made conspiratorial and racist comments, “has an admiration for Putin” and “supports polygamy”.

During a trip to Mayotte, the leader of the deputies of the National Rally, Marine Le Pen, announced that the departmental representative of the party, aged 63, was joining the list led to the European elections by Jordan Bardella, “probably in a position ineligible unless voters decide otherwise.”

Conspiracy theories

“It is a signal especially which is launched in Mayotte, to say for the first time historically, there is a candidate from Mayotte who will enter” on a list, she declared on Saturday on Outremer 1ère. “As usual with Marine Le Pen and the National Rally, (…) they have allies of whom they cannot be sure of the substance of the remarks they make: this gentleman obviously has an admiration for (the Russian president Vladimir) Putin, he supports polygamy,” denounced the Minister Delegate for Overseas Territories, Marie Guévenoux, on Sud Radio.

Saidali Boina Hamissi “participated in conspiracy theories, made extremely serious and dangerous comments about women on the supposed submission of women in relation to their spouses”, for her part castigated the government spokesperson, Prisca Thevenot, on LCI.
