Europeans: Reconquest changes strategy and wants to attack the RN head-on

War seems to have been declared between the National Rally and Reconquest. If Jordan Bardella’s list is at the top of voting intentions for the European elections, Marion Maréchal’s list is less attractive to hard-right voters. At Reconquête, we are completely changing gear.

It’s a resolutely political May 1st for the National Rally and Reconquest. Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella will reveal this Wednesday the 35 names who will be on the RN list for the European elections. At the same time, Marion Maréchal will pay tribute to Joan of Arc in Domrémy-la-Pucelle in the Vosges.

Between the two parties, close ideologically, the non-aggression pact has long prevailed. But faced with the temptation of a useful vote in favor of Jordan Bardella, Reconquest decided to assert its differences more clearly.

Highlight the “added values” of Reconquest against the RN

Because faced with the ongoing hemorrhage of Zemmourist voters tempted by Jordan Bardella, Reconquest changes gear and no longer hesitates to make the president of the RN a target. Described as a “conjurer” by Sarah Knafo, new number 3 on Marion Maréchal’s list, Jordan Bardella is accused of deceiving voters by speaking like Éric Zemmour. “But the real boss remains Marine Le Pen,” we correct at Reconquête, where we know the MP for Pas-de-Calais is less popular than her younger sister among right-wing sympathizers.

“Our voters were able to wonder for a moment about our added value,” concedes a party strategist, now determined to mark her differences with the RN on societal issues, such as in the economy. Marion Maréchal had until recently refrained from attacking Jordan Bardella, both out of political strategy – the head of the list having always pleaded in favor of the union of the rights, and out of personal affinity, the RN being her former party.
