Conchita Wurst – earlier
With the victory of the “Eurovision Song Contest” 2014 in Denmark, the drag artist Conchita Wurst became known to a worldwide audience. The winning song “Rise like a Phoenix” hit the nerve of the time. The artist’s unique look in particular caused a sensation. Based on the first lady style with a beard and lots of make-up, this appearance was remembered by millions of people.
