(AOF) – Eutelsat Group has finalized the sale of the 50% stake held by OneWeb in the Airbus OneWeb Satellites joint venture. Based in Florida, this company which built the satellites of the first generation OneWeb constellation, comes under the control of Airbus US Space & Defense. This operation is a continuation of the strategy of optimizing and rationalizing the satellite operator’s asset portfolio, which aims to reduce its debt.
