Naturally rather discreet about her private and family life, Eva Longoria discussed her childhood and her sisters. She explained that she grew up in Texas with many siblings, including her sister Liza, who had a disability. “My older sister Liza has a mental disability. I am the youngest of four girls and I grew up in his world. Everything revolved around her. As a child, I learned to put myself in someone else’s shoes”, she commented. It was while growing up alongside him that Tony Parker’s ex-wife said she developed her desire to help others. “She is truly the light of our family. She remembered an anecdote from her childhood during which his big sister had a jacket with the image of her high school stolen. “My sister was in high school. And, you know, when you get to high school in the United States, you get a jacket with a school logo on it, and everyone has one. And one day, someone stole it from her, even though she had it on her.” Angry, Eva Longoria, then 10 years old, asked him who had taken the item of clothing. “It’s someone who must have been cold”, his little sister had explained. Eva Longoria said admiring that the latter did not imagine that someone had wanted to harm her. An anecdote which perfectly sums up her sister’s personality according to her.
