Even at 50, Eva Mendes still has radiant, beautiful skin to show off. Her care routine also includes home remedies.

Who on Eva Mendes thinks that she immediately has films like “Hitch – The Date Doctor” (2005) or “Ghost Rider” (2007) in mind, her famous husband Ryan Gosling (43) and one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. It was not without reason that the American woman was named the most erotic woman in the world in 2009 by the online magazine “Ask Men”. It’s hard to believe that the actress will turn 50 on March 5th. But Eva Mendes also does a lot for her appearance.

Anti-aging products and DIY recipes

Like so many people, Eva Mendes uses anti-aging products to keep her radiantly fresh skin. But she was particularly fond of one oil, as she revealed in the “Byrdie” interview: the Pure Radiance Oil from True Botanicals. The product is said to consist of a blend of omega-3 fatty acids, astaxanthin, algae extract and 14 absorbable seed oils. The actress also applies this on her hands.

Another insider tip from her is mild laser treatments. “It helps with smoothness and discoloration,” she told Glamor UK in 2018. But one or two DIY recipes also help her: “Only in a pinch, I make my own peeling by adding sea salt to natural yogurt. It really works! I also use baking soda to polish my teeth.”

By the way, she only washes her hair twice a week. She likes to leave coconut oil on overnight and then wash it out in the morning. She also uses a coconut oil mask once a month.

Beauty tools

To ensure that the products mentioned can develop their full effect, Eva Mendes also likes to use supporting tools. “I love the ZIIP Beauty Tool for my face, a portable electric skin care device that uses energetic vibrations pushed into the skin through positively and negatively charged discs,” she continued to tell Glamour. She also uses a facial roller to reduce puffiness. She usually puts this in the fridge beforehand for a cooling effect.

For Eva Mendes, sport is on the agenda every day. She visits the gym three times a week, but trains up to five times in total. The actress mainly does interval training, a mix of running and sprinting. This is much more effective than 30 to 45 minutes of continuous cardio. In addition to her exercise program, Mendes swears by small portions in her diet. She eats five times a day, focusing primarily on scrambled eggs, chicken, fish, rice, quinoa and salads. But her most important tip is to drink lots of water, she said she told “Shape” magazine in 2017. This is also a reason for her radiant skin. However, there is one sweet that always makes her weak: Cadbury Creme Eggs, i.e. chocolate eggs with a creamy filling.

Between children, job and styling

Eva Mendes more or less left acting behind her a few years ago. Today she primarily works as a designer and regularly brings out new collections with the fashion label “New York & Company”.
