Maren actress reveals the reason for her “GZSZ” break

Eva Mona Rodekirchen has now revealed the reason for her nine-month “GZSZ” break. The actress was “almost burned out”.
Eva Mona Rodekirchen (47) took a break from “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten” for almost nine months. Since April 2023, the actress has been in front of the camera again as Maren Seefeld, next Wednesday her comeback episode will be on RTL from 7:40 p.m. The 47-year-old urgently needed the long break, as revealed by “Bild am Sonntag”.
“I was almost burned out, on the verge of nothing going on anymore. It was a good time for me to take a step back to get my strength back,” explains Rodekirchen. The first six months were therefore “super”.
“I couldn’t get down anymore”
Before that, she felt like she was on a hamster wheel. “I couldn’t get down,” she continues. During the break, she enjoyed just doing nothing, “sitting somewhere and just looking at a tree for half an hour”. That was not possible for her before. According to Rodekirchen, it was not a burnout.
Now she is happy to be able to shoot again for “GZSZ”. Because the actress then became “very boring”. Since 2010 she has been seen on television as Maren Seefeld.
