All the news related to Netflix in recent times shows that the giant wants to favor its offer with advertising, whether by gradually removing its Essential offer, or, like today, by thinking about transforming advertisements into series!

What if the ads that annoy you, on TV or on your streaming service, become a gripping story that would be hard to put down? This is what Netflix would like to do, according to information from the FinancialTimes. For this, the Californian firm would rely on the data it has on your profile.

By knowing the series and films followed by the user, Netflix would know what it likes, and could therefore produce a series of advertising communications in the form of around fifteen episodes. The objective is clear, namely to significantly improve the engagement of the subscriber, who would no longer see advertisements as a painful moment, but rather as the possibility of following another adventure.

The stakes are high for Netflix. Because according to one of the anonymous sources of the FinancialTimes, the American company would today generate more income thanks to its cheaper plan with advertising than with its standard plan. The formula, which struggled to take off, finally began to win over a substantial audience, in France and around the world.
