Lego Ideas The starry Night by Vincent van Gogh is sold for €169.99 on the Lego website. It is available for sale at a price of €139.99 on Cdiscount. Lego Art The Great Wave by Japanese painter Hokusai is normally sold for €99.99. It costs €88.99 on Cdiscount.
What is this Lego inspired by Van Gogh?
One of Vincent van Gogh’s most famous paintings is entitled to its reproduction in Lego. The starry Night faithfully reproduces the painter’s colors and brushstrokes using bricks. The set consists of 2,316 pieces that you will have to assemble to recreate the swirling clouds and the rolling hills of the original work, painted by the artist in 1889. The latter is also present in the form of a adorable minifigure with a paintbrush in hand, painting The starry Night.
The set measures over 28cm high, 38cm wide and 12cm deep. Note that it can be hung on the wall using an integrated hook, or simply placed on a piece of furniture.
What is this Lego inspired by Hokusai?
Lthe Great Wave off Kanagawa is a print by the Japanese painter Hokusai, published in 1831. This Lego set allows you to recreate it in bricks, thanks to 1,810 pieces which faithfully reproduce the colors of the original work. The set includes six plates, two hooks for hanging it, as well as a decorative tile decorated with Hokusai’s signature. Note that a QR code, to be scanned in the booklet, allows you to listen to a relaxing soundtrack during editing. The booklet also comes with details on Hokusai’s work. This set measures over 39cm high and 52cm wide.
