An unmissable event to discover the best of French and American independent cinema, the Champs-Élysées Film Festival will be held from June 21 to 28 in the cinemas of the most beautiful avenue in the world.

Dedicated to the discovery of new talent, the festival, which aims to be a bridge between French and American cinematography as well as a meeting platform for young creation, was launched in 2012 by producer, distributor and exhibitor Sophie Dulac. Since then, it has brought together several thousand spectators and professionals on the Champs-Élysées every year.

Sophie Dulac specifies in the press release: “Because it is more important than ever to meet in cinemas to discuss, learn, enlighten our consciences, I invite you to meet from June 21 to 28, 2022 in the halls of the Champs-Elysées. This 11th edition, placed under the sign of renewal and celebration, will mark with panache the launch of a new decade of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival.

We strongly wish to be able to offer the most beautiful spectacle, that of a free and daring cinema, on the big screen. And I can already tell you that this edition will not lack surprises!”

Cinephiles will therefore be able to discover 12 feature films in competition, including the Cannes films Atlantic Bar and Rodeo, 4 in preview, 5 medium-length films in special screenings and around twenty short films.

When his toddler daughter’s great friend, the android Yang, breaks down, Jake tries to fix it. In doing so, Jake discovers parts of his life that escape him. This is an opportunity for him to tighten the ties uniting him to his wife and daughter whom he had not seen loosening up.

Festival-goers will also be able to discover the Daniels’ long-awaited film on the multiverse Everything Everywhere All at Once, when the Festival closes on June 28, pending its release in all cinemas from August 31.

Carried by Michelle Yeoh, the feature film follows Evelyn Wang, a woman who no longer understands her family, her work and is crumbling under taxes… Suddenly, she finds herself immersed in the multiverse, parallel worlds where she explores all the lives she could have led.
