Evil Dead: The Game, the game is still postponed, but a specific release date is given

We haven’t seen much Evil Dead: The Game, but its only long trailer of gameplay has already taught us a lot about its asymmetrical multiplayer game system. We’ve been waiting for news of its launch ever since, a time scheduled for 2021, then February 2022.

Unfortunately, we will still have to be a little patient. Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games announces a new postponement of the title, with a specific release date this time: May 13, 2022 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch. And, yes, it will be a Friday the 13th, a beautiful reminder of that cursed day often hinted at in horror movies.

Hello Evil Dead fans!

When we set out to make an all-new game worthy of the Evil Dead franchise, we knew it had to be hellishly groovy. In order to provide the best possible experience, Evil Dead: The Game is now coming on May 13, 2022.

This delay gives our team the time they need to get it right, so your boomstick will be polished, fully charged, and ready to blast the Deadites this Friday, May 13th. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Until then, we can wait with promotional videos, a trailer being scheduled for next month, as is the opening of pre-orders. Other than that, Evil Dead: The Complete is available on Blu-ray from €34.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
