Ex-football star tragically dies aged just 53

Before that, he won the Champions League in 1991, which was still called the Champions Clubs Cup at the time. He was part of the Red Star Belgrade squad that beat Olympique Marseille in the final that year. Sinisa Mihajlovic had three Yugoslavian Championships, two Serie A, and three Italian Cups on his player list.

For the record, he has the record for the number of goals scored from set pieces in Serie A, with 45 achievements. Sinisa Mihajlovic also had achieved the feat of scoring a hat-trick from a free kick during a meeting between Lazio of Rome and Sampdoria of Genoa in 1998. Reconverted as a coach in 2008, Sinisa Mihajlovic was the national coach of Serbia between 2012 and 2013. He also served as AC Milan coach between 2015 and 2016.
