Ex-Top Chef Mohamed Cheikh and Yannick Alléno launch a special burger

Here is a collab that should make some noise. Starred chef Yannick Alléno reunites with Mohamed Cheikh, the big winner of season 12 of Top Chef.

They both worked on a gourmet burger recipe that will be on the menu of Burger Père & Fils, run by Antoine Alléno.

All three wanted a “colorful” burger, inspired by the Mediterranean origins of chef Mohamed Cheikh.

The bread is the one that is specially prepared in the Pavillon Ledoyen laboratory. As for the meat, it is a veal steak which comes from the Les Jumeaux butcher shop. It certifies meat from organic farming in Limousin. It is served with a small sauce of cumin, coriander and garlic powder.

This special burger also includes a piece of cheese from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, pure farm sheep’s milk smoked over beech wood, as well as pickled red cabbage, an iceberg salad and raw red onions.

Everything will be accompanied by “corner of the street” potatoes, crispy, smoked, served with a parsley mayonnaise and a spicy ketchup.

It will be on the Burger father & son menu by Alléno to be consumed on site in Beaupassage or delivered on the Uber Eats application (from March 16 to April 17 inclusive).

“Nomade Burger” by Mohamed Cheikh, burger and potatoes “on the street corner” or salad at €21.
