It will soon be clear who will be “Germany’s next top model”. That’s what the candidates who fight for victory in the final say.

Next week, Heidi Klum (50) will choose the winner of the current season of “Germany’s next top model”. In the final are Nicole (49), Olivia (22), Selma (19), Somajia (21) and Vivien (22). On Thursday, June 15 (from 8:15 p.m. live on ProSieben and Joyn) they will walk the catwalk in Cologne and hope to win – and to inspire other women, as Nicole revealed in advance.

According to the broadcaster, the 49-year-old explained at the finale that she wanted to become “Germany’s next top model” in 2023, “because it’s time for women over 40 to become much more visible in our society”. She wants to inspire women, “regardless of age, to believe in their power and strength and to do all the things that they never thought they could do.”

“Starting a New Life”

22-year-old Olivia isn’t just fighting for victory, either. According to the announcement, she would like to give something back to her single mother: “I want to become #GNTM because it would be a start into a new life for me and my family,” she explains.

Selma would like to “get a foothold in the model business” with a win. According to the 19-year-old, the title is not just about “being a pretty girl. The title shows that I have model potential and also have a strong personality that inspires other people”.

For Somajia “#GNTM is a childhood dream that I now want to realize”. The 21-year-old wants to change her life and that of her family “and give us a better life”. She loves to model, take pictures and walk. “I just discovered a passion for modeling and I want to realize my lifelong dream here.”

By winning the show, Vivien wants to show “that the fashion industry is changing and that women who believe in themselves and don’t let anything or anyone get them down can do anything,” said the 22-year-old.

Star guests in the final

In the final, the fans can not only look forward to the candidates next week. In addition to the French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier (71), moderator Heidi Klum in Cologne also welcomed the British fashion designer Christian Cowan (27) and her daughter Leni Klum (19), who made her modeling debut at the end of 2020 and has been successfully involved in the fashion business ever since.
