In an interview granted in our columns, Ariane Séguillon delivered heavy personal secrets. By evoking the bulimia from which she suffered for many years, the actress returned to the incestuous acts that her brother suffered for several years.

The actress of tomorrow belongs to us evokes in particular the family drama which is at the origin of his illness: the day his brother told him he had cancer, in 2015. A brother who was the victim for many years of sexual abuse by a member of their family. “My brother was repeatedly raped as a child by one of our paternal uncles”began Ariane Séguillon, before adding: “In this book, I denounce this man. Before he died, my brother wrote a wonderful book about it called The Lucky Son.” Through her notoriety, she indicates that she hopes “do him justice”.

Ariane Séguillon: “I forgave them, but I don’t forget”

Despite these years of violence, Ariane Séguillon explains that no one wanted to file a complaint against this uncle, brother of journalist Pierre-Luc Séguillon. “My brother, around 10 years old, spoke out so that one of our cousins would not be a victim of the monstrous torture of this pedophile”, she continued. Consumed by guilt for not having succeeded in protecting her brother, the actress confides that she tried to put a definitive end to her uncle’s actions. “I tried to kill my uncle by throwing a flowerpot over his head. I just missed him and people in my family, who didn’t know yet, they say I was jealous because he gave my little cousins a lot of presents.”she says.

A secret that has long remained in the family circle and that Ariane Séguillon has denounced. For several years, she also wanted a lot from her loved ones. “I forgave them, but I don’t forget. As for this bad guy, he died in an excuse for no one”, she concluded.
