This shooting in a concert hall in the Russian capital cost the lives of 137 people.
French football will show its support for the Russian people, bruised after the attack in a Moscow concert hall on Friday evening. Exclusively on Europe 1, Philippe Diallo, president of the FFF, announced that a tribute, in the form of a minute of silence, would be paid to the victims before the Blues’ friendly match on Tuesday evening against Chile at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseilles.

“When these events happen, we need great solidarity with the Russian people,” assures the new boss of French football at the microphone of Jacques Vendroux. Asked about the possibility of carrying out this tribute last Saturday before the match against Germany, the attack having taken place 24 hours earlier, Philippe Diallo considered that all the conditions were not met. “Everything was planned and it was necessary, to be able to pay this tribute, to do it in good conditions given the horror,” he declared. And to conclude: “Be certain that the French Football Federation is in full solidarity with the Russian people and their Russian counterpart.”
This shooting, which caused scenes of chaos in the heart of Crocus City Hall, was claimed by the Islamic State. 137 people lost their lives, according to the latest official figures. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a day of national mourning on Sunday while the four suspects in the attack were remanded in custody.
