In the columns of the new issue on newsstands of your magazine Closer, discover where and how François Hollande and Julie Gayet went from 2021 to 2022 …
François Hollande and Julie Gayet have continued to spin the perfect love together for a very long time now. Always so accomplices, the former President of the Republic and the actress started the year by spending New Years Eve together … in front of a show! Indeed, the latter did not go to the island of Molène, in Brittany, as in 2020 and 2021. No, this time, the couple treated themselves to an evening at the Rond-Point theater, in the capital.
On the evening of January 31, 2021, François Hollande and Julie Gayet chose to attend a performance of the play Letters to Anne, a project on the boards inspired by the correspondence of François Mitterand and Anne Pingeot between 1962 and 1995. The forbidden love of the socialist president, married to Danielle Mitterand, with the art historian was “one of the biggest secrets of the Fifth Republic”, as recalled by the program of the show.
Julie Gayet and François Hollande spent the New Year’s Eve at the theater
At the end of the performance of the piece Letters to Anne which François Hollande and Julie Gayet went to on New Year’s Eve, no way to go to bed! The main parties concerned rather stayed on site for dinner, at the restaurant of the theater. At table, they were joined by actor Patrick Mille, before the latter’s wife, Justine Lévy, joined them. The atmosphere was visibly festive – like everywhere else – since the evening then continued until 2 o’clock in the morning.
