Since the start of its broadcast, the France 2 series has created the event and has been able to attract an audience that is now loyal and seeking thrills through the scenarios. This summer, fans of Un si grand soleil will have to say goodbye to a key character. We tell you more.

All is not always all rosy and beautiful in Montpellier. The characters ofsuch a big sun know something about it. Oscillating between happy, tragic and disturbing events, the comedians of the series provide great pleasure to their fans, every evening from Monday to Friday.

In such a big sun, however, it is rare for a main character to die. Although the writers are eager for twists and like to play with the viewers, they generally do not want to eliminate a key character. The tragic death of Elsa had caused a lot of anchor to sink.

A character will tragically leave the series by the end of the summer

During an exclusive interview with Télé Star, we learned that a key character was going to leave the series for good by the end of the summer. The death investigation will be entrusted to Alex Levy and will experience many twists and turns. From what we have learned, it is the character of Elisabeth who will be the most affected by this tragic death.

Olivier Szulzynger, screenwriter, revealed how the departure of this mysterious character had been thought out: When we knew that this character had to leave quickly at the request of his interpreter, we had to rethink the scheme. It challenges us, because we think about how our artistic choices influence the shooting.”he first confided.

He then developed: “Imagine if we abolished the hospital, the number of actors who would no longer work! In the case that concerned us, we thought of an assassination because it made it possible to fold the cards and bring great emotions to those who gravitate around., he confessed. Something to make us wait a little bit until this summer…

Interview to be found in full in your magazine Télé Star on newsstands and in digital version this Monday, June 20.
