EXCLUDED VIDEO – Cyril Féraud: he personalizes his microphones for a very touching reason

Everyone has already seen it with personalized microphone. Star of the programs he hosts on the France Télévisions channels, Cyril Féraud always does his job by standing out from other public service presenters thanks to a unique accessory: its yellow ring microphones. A particularity that “everyone knows” behind the scenes as it is so important to the host. The latter is the guest of Frédéric Lopez in A Sunday in the countryside this Sunday, December 3. On this occasion, he revealed where this mania came from to add a yellow ring, “his favorite colour”to all his microphones: he inherited it from a member of his family.

Indeed, he says that when he was a child, he was having fun host the TV shows he watched with his loved ones. A habit that had pushed his grandfather René to make him fake microphones according to the programs. He then differentiated them thanks to “Scotch with colors”. He then adds that his favorite color, “lucky charm”, has always been yellow, so his “Grandpa [lui avait] made a microphone with a little yellow windshield”. Once “really become” host, Cyril Féraud wanted to perpetuate the tradition started by his grandfather: “I said, ‘I want to have a yellow hat.’ His wish was granted and, since then, he has never taken off this accessory which reassures him, because “[son] grandfather [le] protect from above”. “I love symbols”he concludes.
