When we train, the area above the neck is mostly left out. It’s really a shame, says face yoga teacher Anastasia Goron.

Face yoga against impurities and wrinkles – this is how it works

Daily exercises can against Acne and the like help, says Anastasia Goron. She came to face yoga because of her own skin problems. What do you need? A mirror and hands – the 31-year-old has a short workout video every day. Even five to ten minutes a day bring something, she says.

We apply lotion to our skin every day, but don’t pay enough attention to the underlying surface.

If you massage the lymph nodes under the ear in a circular motion with your index and middle finger, for example, the lymph flow is stimulated – the skin immediately looks fresher and better supplied with blood, and wrinkles and asymmetries can be reduced in the long term, describes Goron. “We have over 50 muscles in our face, some of which we overuse over time, such as the frown line. We rarely use others like the inferior eye muscle. With face yoga, these areas can be relaxed and tensed in a targeted manner.”

Daily exercise also helps with double chins

According to Anastasia Goron, a double chin is often not due to fat but to lymphatic fluid that does not drain properly due to neck tension. Expert tip: “Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth alternately, without touching your teeth, and relax again. If you put the back of your hand under your chin, you can feel the tension in the muscle. Great: You can also do the exercise in the office – and nobody will notice.”
