A big shock on Tuesday afternoon in a kindergarten in Pasching in Upper Austria. For the animal found in a sandbox, even the animal rescue ICARA had to move out.
The caregivers in the kindergarten immediately called the ICARA animal rescue service because a smooth snake about 30 centimeters long was hiding in the sandbox. The snake had a minor injury. The snake was quickly secured on site, to the astonishment of the children present. She had a minor injury. It was able to receive veterinary care at the animal shelter in Linz and the animal rescuers were able to release the found snake a short time later, away from any sandboxes.
