F1 23: gameplay improvements, Precision Drive, red flag and new tracks in a new video

Next month will come out F1 23the new racing game fromEA Games And Codemasters officially licensed FIA. The title was presented last week, but the studios are already back with a new video to highlight some new features of this opus, it is to be discovered right here:

Natalie Pinkham, presenter of Sky Sports F1explains to us that the handling and physics of the single-seaters have been improved with more realistic behavior when accelerating, braking and cornering. The developers performed physical calculations for tire slippage and their interaction with the car’s inertia, not forgetting to take into account the torque provided by each motor. Codemasters was assisted by teams of F1 and pilot Anthony Davidson (Minardi, BAR-Honda, Super Aguri) to design all these novelties of gameplay. The studio also returns to THE Precision Drivea technology aimed at improving the sensations of gamers using the controller. More precise controls for more realistic piloting and more intense battles.

On the content side, we will not be outdone, with in particular shopping by 35%a new distance hitherto exclusive to F1 Esports which will make it possible to embark on a Grand Prize rather short, but with strategy for the passages to the pits. The red flag will make a comeback, sending all drivers back to the pits following a big accident on the track and completely relaunching the suspense of the race. The virtual race directors will be able to brandish it in the event of a major collision in solo or multiplayer, but also during heavy rain. Of course, players will be able to set this feature in the options.
