F1 23 presents its story modes and F1 World in video

Following on from the foundations laid in F1 2021, the second chapter of the Breaking Point story mode (Braking Point in English) promises to take automotive drama to the next level. While former rivals Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler are now teammates in the new Konnersport Racing Team, the little thumb of the championship, the story is enriched by a new important character in the person of Callie Mayer, the sister of Devon Butler, freshly crowned Formula 2 champion, who now dreams of making history by embarking on the deep end of Formula 1. To bring her story to life, the authors have teamed up with driver Jamie Chadwick, three-time champion of the world of the W Series… who rightly cherishes the hope of becoming an F1 driver in the coming years. For the record, you have to go back to 1992 to see a woman (Giovanna Amati) trying to qualify (in vain) for an F1 Grand Prix.

The second part of the video details the F1 World, a central hub around which various single and multiplayer events revolve. This space is based on a progression system shared between the different modes and also serves as an introduction to the game for newcomers to the world of F1. The F1 World is also the place where the whole dimension live-service of the game will make sense season after season, through daily and weekly challenges. By progressing, the player will increase his “Tech Level” to unlock rewards and improvements each season. F1 23 will be available on June 16 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
