In an interview with Tele-Leisure, the program director of France Télévisions, Stéphane Sitbon Gomez, returned to the failure of the singer La Zarra during the last edition of Eurovision. While last January, during his presentation to journalists, the leaders of the group were full of praise for the artist, who was presented as the one who would finally break the curse of Eurovision, finally the results of the contest disappointed a lot internally.

France has not won Eurovision since 1977, when Marie Myriam won the competition with her song “L’Oiseau et l’enfant”.
