From this Tuesday, February 15, the measures relating to the new vaccination pass come into force. Among them, the possibility for false pass holders to “repent”.
The component relating to the strengthening of controls and sanctions provides for the possibility for holders of false passes to regularize their situation. After making themselves known to Health Insurance, these “repentants” will have thirty days to begin their vaccination process. If they are vaccinated within this period, no sanction will be applied to them.
Administrative cancellation of the false vaccination cycle
In this context, the Directorate General of Health (DGS) has implemented a simplified procedure and sent a note to the attention of all professionals, reports France Info. Thus, “people with a false vaccination cycle wishing to be vaccinated are invited to present themselves at a vaccination center”, can we read in this note.
The head of the vaccination center – healthcare professional or administrative manager – can then cancel the false vaccination cycle. The document specifies that the latter will not have to “control the thirty-day period”, nor to “inform the police”.
As a reminder, the holder of a false health pass risks up to three years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros.
