“Fallout” premiered just a few days ago, and it is now clear: there will be a second season of the series on Prime Video.

Good news for all fans of “Fallout”: the sci-fi series continues. Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video is giving the TV show, which is based on the popular game series of the same name, new episodes. The company announced this in a statement.

According to US media reports, “Fallout” received some of the best reviews ever for Prime Video when it launched. The Streaming service stated that the series is one of its three most successful titles. As showrunners, Geneva Robertson-Dworet (38) and Graham Wagner can be happy about the success; the show is produced by Jonathan Nolan (47) and Lisa Joy (46).

“Jonah, Lisa, Geneva and Graham captivated the world with this groundbreaking, wild series. The bar was set high for lovers of this iconic video game and so far we seem to have exceeded their expectations while bringing millions of new fans to the franchise were able to win,” Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, is quoted as saying in the statement. It also says, among other things: “We are pleased to announce the second season after just one week and to take viewers even further into the surreal world of Fallout.”

Three survivors in the Wasteland

In the world of “Fallout,” a devastating nuclear war occurred around 200 years ago that devastated the United States. A lucky few survived the nuclear apocalypse protected in massive underground bunkers. Young Lucy (Ella Purnell, 27) is a descendant of this privileged section of the population. However, after a terrible tragedy, she has to leave her home Vault 33.

In the outside world, the so-called Wasteland (or in German: Wasteland), Lucy meets a mutated bounty hunter (Walton Goggins, 52) and the young soldier Maximus (Aaron Moten), who belongs to the so-called Brotherhood of Steel, a group of highly technical warriors .
