Fallout: Todd Howard censored the Amazon Prime Video series, for a good cause?

In a month, subscribersAmazon Prime will be able to discover fallouta series adapted from the franchise of Bethesda in a post-apocalyptic world. A series in live action supervised by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy (Westworld), but also by Todd Howard, games manager Bethesda Game Studios.

In an interview given to Den of GeekTodd Howard, Johnathan Nolan and the showrunner Graham Wagner returned to the conception of this series, the latter even asserting thathe thinks he “made Fallout 6”, just that. Well, the latest opus is Fallout 4one is therefore missing between the two, already confirmed by Bethesda and really not ready to go out, the two men are obviously aware, Nolan even declares that “we know everything about Fallout 5; We won’t tell anyone.”.

Funny thing, Todd Howard intervened during the writing of the episodes to modify some ideas. Not because they were bad or too far from the franchise, but because they were elements already planned for Fallout 5 ! He declares :

Well, there were a few moments where I said “don’t do that, because we’re going to do that in Fallout 5.”

Todd Howard and Amazon Studios have, from the start, wanted to make an original story in the universe of falloutand not an adaptation of an existing (or future) game, Jonathan Nolan even talks about a “non-interactive version” of the franchisewith a new storyline and characters still unknown to fans.

Series live action fallout will be broadcast from April 11, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video (yes, the date was brought forward very recently), you can subscribe against €6.99 per month or €69.90 per year.
